Perfect for my Kindle 6" July 28, 2010 B. J. Meck (Lena, WI United States) Was hesitant to order because photos made it appear to be larger than what I was looking for. Just got my bag and absolutely love it. Not only fits my Kindle perfectly but room for all accessories, keys, phone, etc. Highly recommend this product for anyone looking for medium sized bag with tons of pockets!! (I could actually use it as a purse, it is so roomy!)
Pretty good bag July 27, 2010 Smart buyer The quality is great, it feels and looks good. Three observations that need attention. 1) The strap needs to be a little longer, about 10 inches. 2) They need to sew a sturdy handle to the top so you can grab it and go without having to sling it. 3) The top flap needs to extend over the sides so that if there is a load in the bag, rain won't get the top edge of things wet.
Who said a Kindle fits in this special pocket? July 8, 2010 Mary E. Warns (Puyallup, WA) The bag itself is great. Workmanship. look, etc. are all fine. My 6" Kindle did not fit. I think Amazon better check these things before making false claims.
Lorraine D. March 23, 2010 L. Driscoll (Brooklyn,NY) I took a chance and purchased it on the chance that my Kindle 1 (the Origional one) would fit. It does perfectly. Before I purchased I read the reviews and a gentleman
said he wished it had a handle as well as the over the shoulder strap. If you shorten the strap (it comes with an adjustable strap that locks to a shorter configuration) it works great as a briefcase. I love it, I put all of my electronic equipment in it and take it everywhere.
Perfect - if overpriced - Kindle Carrier February 27, 2010 B. Ziff (Vienna, VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Kindle Messenger Bag is a perfect companion for the "Kindle and moleskine" crowd - those who need a bag to carry a few things around town or who need a practical man-purse. The pocket dangles in the middle of the bag, attached to the sides, and fits the Kindle very well (note, however, that if you have a cover on your kindle it can be difficult to fit). Inside organizer panel features a couple of iphone-sized slots, a velcro pocket, and a zipper compartment, and the outside front of the bag has a smaller card pocket with a key leash. The strap is permanently sewn to the bag and has the Timbuk2 cam on one end for easy adjustment - seems like overkill in a bag this small. The strap pad is big and stiff - takes up almost half the strap length - but may become more flexible with use. Lots of velcro for flap closure along with plastic buckles keeps the bag nice and closed. Not sure it's worth the sixty-five dollars I paid for it - much more like a forty-dollar item, but if you are looking for a stylish way to carry your kindle and a few other items, this mini-messenger bag is a great way to do it...
