This battey charged quickly and I have not used it for any extended time. Purchased it as a second battery for a trip to Africa that I have coming up in October. It appears to be exactly like the one that came with my Panasonic camera.

I PURCHASED THIS BATTERY FROM AMAZON.COM (Prime member shipping).
I read a number of reviews from people complaining that the battery was not the correct type, and that it would not function in the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 camera (that is the camera that I am using). The battery that I purchased is identical in every way to the battery that came with my camera from Panasonic, and it functions perfectly. The markings are identical, and I cannot even tell the two batteries apart.
The only reason that I gave the battery 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that I believe that Panasonic should be using batteries with higher mamp/hour ratings, as 895 mah is somewhat low for this type of camera.
For the Lumix DMC-ZS7 camera, I highly recommend that you have at least on spare battery.

Panasonic camera software in some cameras, detects that the battery is genuine.....this one, though it looks the same, is not and will not work....so a pain for all involved!
